{December 17, 2011}   Open Letter to Mr. Nawaz Sharif

Nawaz Shareef

Preseident PML(N)
Raiwind, Lahore, Pakistan

Dear Mr. Shareef
First of all please accept my congratulations on being elected as party president unopposed. This indicates the trust your workers have in your kindself. However
I want to inform you (although you must be aware of it) about the deep concerns of Oversees Pakistanis about the day by day growing relations of PMLN with notorious Terrorist Organizations like Taliban, Sipah e Sahaba and now Laskar e Jhangvi as well.

PMLN is one of the biggest political parties in Pakistan and we want to see it growing day by day through legal and democratic means.
For the last 1 year, there have been dramatic changes in your party’s policy about joining hands with the organisations, banned by previous Governments (including your own Government as well) due to their involvement in terrorism against the state and people.

Firstly there was a “Verbal Move” by your brother and CM Punjab saying “We and Taliban have the SAME goal” whilst every Pakistani knows Taliban are being funded by anti Pakistan powers to weaken Pakistan on one hand and blot the sacred name of Islam on the other hand by their Satanic activities.

Then PMLN drew a shameful agreement with Sipah e Sahaba in June 2008 bye elections while Mr. Shahbaz Shareef was to be elected “Unopposed” from PP 48, Darya Khan, Bhakkar. Molvi Abdul Hameed of Sipah e Sahaba with drew in his favour in exchange for an assurance for releasing all the mass killers and blood thirsty terrorists including Ghulam Rasool Shah and Malik Ishaq which by no chance could be released without the involvement of Government.

Thursday, July 14 was a “Black day” for each Pakistani when Malik Ishaq was released with 100s of bullets fired outside the Jail to give him a “Red Carpet Welcome” by the Punjab Government. All other terrorists had already been released as the government did not peruse their cases. Ishaq himself had acknowledged in Papers to kill more than 100 innocent Pakistanis in target killings, bomb blasts and attack in Mosques. He was also involved in killing of Iranian Diplomats and “Organized” an attack on Sri Lankan Cricket Team, certainly due to the facilities provided to him by the Punjab Government within the Jail. He further managed to kill 8 witnesses against him one by one while he was “under trial” in the so called “Courts” and on each killing, the government acted as a “Silent Spectator”.

The recent news is that your nephew Hamza Shahbaz is to contest from Jhang District, and Shahbaz Government as an exchange would facilitate the release of some more mass killers from the Jails by not persuing their cases and “Gifting” a seat in Senate to Molvi Ludhanvi who is the master mind of most terrorist activities being carried out in Pakistan.
Mr. Shareef!

While the “unchallenged” (rather state sponsored) terrorism is the biggest problem in Pakistan and the poverty strickenpeople are having blood baths every day, PLEASE do not leave the people on mercy of these blood thirsty terrorists.

PLEASE do not embrace these enemies of Islam, Pakistan and the people of Pakistan in an attempt to grab few votes.
PLEASE do not release any more terrorists; we cannot see the innocent blood running in the streets shed by your allies SSP, Taliban and Lashkar e Jhangvi.

The major support for PMLN comes from the business class which is most effected by the terrorism
I do hope Mr. Shareef, as a shroud politician, you would reconsider your party policy and adopt a rightful and democratic path instead of joining the terrorists and indulging into terrorism.
Fire is fire; it kills EVERY ONE

Yours sincerely

In 1995, a former ISI official told reporters that he had arranged meetings between Nawaz Sharif and Osama bin Laden. Nawaz Sharif was allegedly looking to bin Laden to help fund his 1988 campaign for Prime Minister, and was willing to say anything to get it.

“Nawaz Sharif insisted that I arrange a direct meeting with the Osama, which I did in Saudi Arabia. Nawaz met thrice with Osama in Saudi Arabia. The most historic was the meeting in the Green Palace Hotel in Medina between Nawaz Sharif, Osama and myself. Osama asked Nawaz to devote himself to “jihad in Kashmir”. Nawaz immediately said, ‘I love jihad.’ Osama smiled, and then stood up from his chair and went to a nearby pillar and said, ‘Yes, you may love jihad, but your love for jihad is this much.’ He then pointed to a small portion of the pillar. ‘Your love for children is this much,’ he said, pointing to a larger portion of the pillar. ‘And your love for your parents is this much,’ he continued, pointing towards the largest portion. ‘I agree that you love jihad, but this love is the smallest in proportion to your other affections in life.’”

This wasn’t the last we heard of Nawaz Sharif’s friendship with Osama bin Laden. In 2007, ABC News reported that Sharif took bribes from bin Laden to look the other way as militants carried out their plans in Pakistan.

Cloonan says that back in 1999 Mohamed told the FBI he arranged for a meeting between bin Laden and Sharif’s representatives. Following that meeting, Mohamed told Cloonan he delivered $1 million to Sharif’s representatives. Mohamed said the payoff was a tribute to Sharif for not cracking down on the Taliban as it flourished in Afghanistan and influenced the Northwest Frontier Province in Pakistan, according to Cloonan.

New evidence has surfaced, though, that suggests those meetings were merely the beginning of a long relationship between Nawaz Sharif and Osama bin Laden.

Nawaz Sharif, a two-time former prime minister of Pakistan and current head of one of the country’s major political parties, has met with Osama bin Laden on numerous occasions, and it was in fact the al Qaeda leader who developed the relationship between Sharif and the Saudi royal family, says a former Pakistani intelligence official.

“We in Saudi Arabia are not observers in Pakistan, we are participants.”

Saudi Arabia is the third largest state in Middle East, biggest oil supplier in the world, extremely close and loyal ally of USA, staunch rival of Iran and finally supposedly time tested friend of Pakistan.
Saudis have been playing very active role in Pakistan from the day they recognized her as an independent Islamic state in 1947. From acquiring of nuclear technology in Bhutto era (funding) to the testing of nuclear warheads in Nawaz Sharif era (they promised to support Pakistan’s economy after the tests) Saudis proved their loyalty. On the other hand Pakistan also tried her level best in strengthening the bilateral relations of the two states. From flying of Saudi aircraft in 1969 to the episode of seizure of Holy Kaba, Pakistan also showed their metal.
After USA, undoubtedly Saudi Arabia is the major socially, religiously and politically contributing factor in Pakistan either positively or negatively. Though nowadays her negative factors are more clearly showing their effects on Pakistani society. Even Wiki leaks gave evidence of this symbiotic relationship, when Saudi Ambassador, Adel al-Jubeir, was showing off in front of USA Ambassador,

“We in Saudi Arabia are not observers in Pakistan, we are participants.”

Pakistan is paying a very heavy price for this relationship in the form of ongoing sectarianism, extremism, Talibanization of Pakistan and constant political chaos as they keep on supporting corrupt politicians of the state.
Throughout history Saudi Arabia’s main focus in their foreign policy was on the spread of Wahabism and containing of influence of Iran in Muslim world. They make huge donations from USA to developing states around the globe with one condition that they will be allowed to send their preachers and scholars to preach their Wahabist ideology. They provide funds for building mosques and research centers. Wahabis are devoted believers of force or extremism in Islam.
Madrassa system of Pakistan based on Wahabist ideology was completely funded by the Saudis. Young boys were taught glorified image of jihad and even were physically trained for the future purpose of jihad. Taliban were the direct outcome of this Madrassa system. They support and propagate Terrorism which is against the teachings of Holy Prophet (PBUH) who actually taught, peace and harmony.
Saudi Arabia funds extremist activities all around the globe especially Taliban in Pakistan. The former Director of CIA James Woolsey described Saudi Arabian Wahabism as “the soil in which Al-Qaeda and its sister terrorist organizations are flourishing.” Until recently they themselves had to suffer extremist activities in their own state, they pulled back a bit but still all the global Saudi charities, which are headed by the Saudi cabinet ministers, are still actively fanning radicalism.
Pakistan is a victim of proxy war of two Middle Eastern states. As Iran supporting the Shiite Muslims of Pakistan and Extremist groups of Sunnis, being supported by Saudis, gave rise to the sectarianism in Pakistan, resulting in total wipe out of the highly skilled and educated lot of Pakistan, like doctors, scholars and even high profile political figures. This proxy war especially accelerated after the Iranian revolution, Saudis wanted to contain their influence in Middle East. During 80s and 90s they funded many extremist organizations for instance Sipah-e-Sahaba Pakistan (SSP) which started propagating against the shiites in Pakistan. In response Iran funded Tehreek-e-Fiq-e-Jafariya.
This interference not only paved the way for many more coming future extremist cells and groups but also gave rise to the Taliban regime (current disastrous turmoil of the state). That ongoing war between both states neither affected Iran nor Saudi Arabia but it destroyed the peace and social infrastructure of Pakistan. Saudis are even not satisfied with President Zardari as he wants to maintain good relations with Iran. Saudis are scared of Pakistan, Iran and Iraq (under Shia authority) triangle. Saudis also called him “rotten head.” Shows the state of mind of the Saudi regime.
Saudi Arabia is playing active role in Pakistani politics as well. One of its main examples was bailing out of Nawaz Sharif from the hands of Musharaf. He and his family was not even given political asylum but also provided with business license, main reason behind the Sharif family’s complete allegiance to Saudi Arabia, they not only saved his neck but his economic interests are also tied to the Saudis. Now Sharif brothers keep their eyes closed over the jihadi activities and invisibly support them.
Saudi Arabia, constantly supports the corrupt and dishonest politicians of Pakistan. Whenever there is a deadlock, case is referred to Saudis, as ultimate authority. Saudis are enjoying the status of puppet masters causing worst political turmoil resulting Pakistan to lose its prestige and honor in international platforms. Ironically, they themselves also do not trust these politicians, during flood crisis, they gave aid to the flood victims in the form of food and other daily use articles instead of liquid money, even this was made possible when General Kiyani himself went to Saudi Arabia and gave his guarantee.
Recently, it’s being speculated that being a close ally of USA Saudi Arabia played the role of mediator in deal between USA and the families of the victims of Raymond Davis case, though Saudia denied it but PM Gilani gave the hint of Saudis’ involvement. Again this was a direct hit on the sovereignty of the state. Though this was the case of Punjab government, Shabaz Sharif referred it to the federal authority and they to Supreme Court and one day before his release Nawaz Sharif suddenly left for UK in pretext of bad health conditions. Ironic still Saudis deny their involvement.
This over all analysis of the current relation shows that now Saudis are interfering way too much, first it was only being run by USA now Saudis are also deeply involved. Saudis’ positive contribution cannot be neglected or forgotten but we need some space. We need some air to breath. This constant involvement is causing Saudi Arabia to lose her good reputation in Pakistan. People know how deep USA and Saudi relations go and most of the time it is speaking the language of USA on Pakistan’s part.

Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari left Pakistan suddenly on Tuesday, complaining of heart pains, and is now in Dubai. His planned testimony before a joint session of Pakistan’s parliament on theMemogate scandal is now postponed indefinitely.
On Dec. 4, Zardari announced that he would address Pakistan’s parliament about the Memogate issue, in which his former ambassador to Washington Husain Haqqani stands accused of orchestrating a scheme to take power away from Pakistan’s senior military and intelligence leadership and asking for U.S. help in preventing a military coup. Haqqani has denied that he wrote the memo at the heart of the scheme, which also asked for U.S. support for the Zardari government and promised to realign Pakistani foreign policy to match U.S. interests.
The memo was passed from Pakistani-American businessman Mansoor Ijaz to former National Security Advisor Jim Jones, to then Joint Chiefs Chairman Adm. Mike Mullen on May 10, only nine days after U.S. forces killed Osama bin Laden in the Pakistani military town of Abbottabad.
Ijaz has repeatedly accused Haqqani of being behind the memo, and Ijaz claims that Haqqani was working with Zardari’s implicit support.
Early on Tuesday morning, Zardari’s spokesman revealed that the president had traveled to Dubai to see his children and undergo medical tests linked to a previously diagnosed “cardiovascular condition.”
A former U.S. government official told The Cable today that when President Barack Obama spoke with Zardari over the weekend regarding NATO’s killing of the 24 Pakistani soldiers, Zardari was “incoherent.” The Pakistani president had been feeling increased pressure over the Memogate scandal. “The noose was getting tighter — it was only a matter of time,” the former official said, expressing the growing expectation inside the U.S. government that Zardari may be on the way out.
The former U.S. official said that parts of the U.S. government were informed that Zardari had a “minor heart attack” on Monday night and flew to Dubai via air ambulance today. He may have angioplasty on Wednesday and may also resign on account of “ill health.”
“This is the ‘in-house change option’ that has been talked about,” said Shuja Nawaz, director of the South Asia Center at the Atlantic Council, in a Tuesday interview with The Cable. Nawaz said that this plan would see Zardari step aside and be replaced by his own party, preserving the veneer of civilian rule but ultimately acceding to the military’s wishes to get rid of Zardari.
“Unfortunately, it means that the military may have had to use its muscle to effect change yet again,” said Nawaz. “Now if they stay at arm’s length and let the party take care of its business, then things may improve. If not, then this is a silent coup with [Pakistani prime minister Yousaf Raza] Gilani as the front man.”
In Islamabad, some papers have reported that before Zardari left Pakistan, the Pakistani Army insisted that Zardari be examined by their own physicians, and that the Army doctors determined that Zardari was fine and did not need to leave the country for medical reasons. Zardari’s spokesman has denied that he met with the Army doctors.
One Pakistani source told The Cable that Zardari was informed on Monday that none of the opposition party members nor any of the service chiefs would attend his remarks to the parliament as a protest against his continued tenure. This source also said that over a dozen of Zardari’s ambassadors in foreign countries were in the process of being recalled in what might be a precursor to Zardari stepping down as president, taking many of his cronies with him.
Pakistan’s Dawn newspaper reported that before leaving, Zardari met separately with Gilani, Chairman of the Senate Farooq H Naik, and Interior Minister Rehman Malik.
This past weekend, the Memogate scandal worsened for Zardari when Ijaz alleged in a Newsweekopinion piece that Zardari and Haqqani had prior knowledge of the U.S. raid to kill bin Laden, and may have given permission for the United States to violate Pakistan’s airspace to conduct the raid.
On May 2, the day after bin Laden was killed, Wajid Hasan, Pakistan’s high commissioner to the United Kingdom, said in an interview with CNN that Pakistan, “did know that this was going to happen because we have been keeping — we were monitoring him and America was monitoring him. But Americans got to where he was first.”
In a statement given to the Associated Press of Pakistan Monday, White House spokespersonCaitlin Hayden said that information on the actual operation to kill bin Laden was not given to anyone in Pakistan.
“As we’ve said repeatedly, given the sensitivity of the operation, to protect our operators we did not inform the Pakistani government, or any other government, in advance,” she said.
Zardari lived in self-imposed exile in Dubai from 2004 through 2007 after being released from prison, where he had been held for eight years on corruption charges. His three children live there, but his 23-year son Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, the chairman of the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), is in Pakistan now.

Ye sab waqiyat apne samne dekh kar Pakistan ki 18 crore awam ki tarhan shayad mein khamosh beth jata aur bas siyasi dangal ki numaish dekhta rehta lekin jis cheez ne mujhe qalam uthane par majboor kia uska is pure waqiyay se gehra talluq hai . . .

{November 22, 2011}   Mutehedda Qaumi Movement In Lahore

Student’s Hard Questions to Mustafa Kamal in Front Line 15 Nov 2011.

Lahore, the heart of Punjab and cultural capital of Pakistan has the tradition of creating histories, be it Pakistan Movement, The migration of Muslims from India, or be it Zulfiquar Ali Bhutto ‘s arrival, Lahore always played a vital in Pakistan’s politics.

Since last many decades, Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz Group) bowing down all their rivals and Lahore proved to be the strong hold of PML (N). Undoubtedly, Lahore progressed immensely in last 15 years or so. The parks, roads, road-side parks, canals, picnic points and last but not the least Motorway.

Due to the importance of Lahore politically, politicians always try to get their foots in Lahore, Lahoris always welcome them open-heatedly and listened to what they have to say. but at the same time, it’s been a tradition of Lahore people that whenever someone tries to make his place in Lahore, they welcome him with iron-hand, they ask questions, they prob for their past and their future plans. This shows that that, like any modern metropolitan city, people of Lahore are literate and they know what is good for them.

Recently, Imran Khan was here for a Jalsa at Minar-e-Pakistan, and people of Lahore, specially, the youth welcome him and treated him like a National Hero. Now that respect and enthusiasm was for a cricketing legend or a Politician, that is debatable.

MQM, the 3rd largest Party of Pakistan, major share of urban Sindh, has started his campaign back in early 90s. They held a huge Pubic meeting (Jalsa) at Minar-e-Pakistan, Quaid-e-Tehreek Mr. Altaf Hussain & PML (N) ‘s leader Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif delivered speeches. The response was huge, people of Lahore turned in millions that time and Lahoris proved their hospitality. Later, the state operation was launched against MQM, and most of the MQM leaders went under-ground, jailed or killed, therefore MQM was forced to restrict in Urban SIndh only.

In last few years or so, lots of MQM leaders visited Lahore, and presented themselves to answer the rumors and doubts in minds of Lahoris. MQM believes in compete accountability and understand the fact that the voter has all the right to questioned the leader who is asking votes fro them. In this regard, lot’s of MQM leaders attended talk shows on media where common people of Lahore were there to question, specially i would like to mention the students, this new generation won’t allow anyone to be on top position without being accountable to citizens of Pakistan. Mr. Haider Abbas Rizvi, Madam Khushbakht Shujat, Faisal Sabzwari, Wasim Akhtar & many other representatives of MQM appeared in front of Lahore public lately, and answers all the questions.

Recently, Ex-Mayor of Karachi and member of MQM Rabta Committee was invited by one of the TV channel to visit  Lahore for a public meeting cum Talk show where people from all mediums of life, living in Lahore were there to prob Mr. Syed Mustafa Kamal. Here’s the recording of that program, hope you like it.

Who is Tiger for you ? the one who say or the one who deliver ?

LAHORE – Choosing to watch Shahid Afridi hit Sri Lankan bowlers for boundaries all over the place in the one day international between the two countries in Sharjah on Sunday, people overlooked Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz’s (PML-N) Faisalabad rally, dubbing it to be the ‘usual waste of time’. Ironically for PML-N, as soon as Mian Nawaz Sharif commenced his speech, Afridi came on to bat. For many, the choice was clear. “Sunday is a day to relax and to be entertained. Who cares about the rallies when Afridi is on a roll,” said Chaudhary Murtaza Asif, a student.
“Afridi makes us happy. What has Nawaz Sharif done for us except give us things to worry about,” said Mutaki Awan, an O Levels student.

Interestingly, in a poll held on Facebook that asked “What is more important to watch today?” and offered “Pak vs Sri Lanka Match” and “PML-N Jalsa” as options, a whopping 94 percent selected the match as their answer while only 41 opted for the rally.
Facebook statuses and comments on different pages showed that the people were more interested in watching the cricket rather than the rally. Citizens were of the view that PML-N should have arranged the rally on some other day. “There is nothing special in PML-N’s rally. They hold it every other day,” said another young boy, who runs his own website, Ali Ashraf.

Some, few and far between, chose to watch the rally on TV. A die hard fan of Mian Nawaz Sharif, Ali Sheikh, updated his Facebook status to “well spoken Mian Sahib” after Nawaz Sharif said he had spent 10 years in Saudi Arabia for Pakistan.

Many were of the view that after Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s successful rally in Lahore, every party had started the ‘stunt’ of holding rallies and they had nothing consequential to say. They also said PML-N was trying to copy PTI’s rally by playing music and copying the stage and the seating arrangement.
Khan’s page, Jaagutho, updated its status to, “PML (N) jalsa a total “copy cat” and “me too” approach. Hope they can also copy the integrity and declare their real assets.”

Facebook users also shared the video of PTI’s show at Dhobi Ghat ground and said the crowd was much more enthusiastic and fervent in Imran Khan’s rallies.
“I don’t understand what Nawaz Sharif wants to achieve by holding these public meetings of patwaris,” said Zeeshan Iqbal, a student.

“Birds of the same feather flock together.”

When the Taliban starts criticizing someone, you should have a second look at that person. When Taliban terrorists say that Imran Khan is the slave of America and Europe, it actually means that they support the Big Khan or his views, and that is perhaps the game plan.

Establishment wants to have such a person in Islamabad who could act as both a progressive and conservative decoy, while also remain popular with the masses. Imran Khan is the perfect match for that. Foreign educated with foreign looks with clipped English accent, this former batsman has also got a soft corner for the Taliban, and he could play carrot and stick with American toeing the line of establishment beautifully.

To add icing to the cake, he is also right now representing the popular wave of Change. I know that these days it is out of fashion to talk against Imran and his Tehrik for Insaf, but we already have a horde of scared cows and it wouldn’t perhaps hurt much to have one more, but blogs are at least one way to dress down these sacred cows.

By the way, for the naive ones, the news is that it is common knowledge in the Islamabad journalistic circles that Imran has met with General Kayani four times after midnight along with columnist (and perhaps future president) Haroon Rashid this month alone.

The tense saga of Raymond Davis, who shot and killed two Pakistanis in Lahore on January 27, continues. His trial in Lahore has been delayed again, with the next  hearing date addressing the question of diplomatic immunity now set for either March 3 or March 14, depending on which report you believe. On Wednesday, Senator John Kerry visited Pakistan to deliver yet another threat of Congress cutting off funding for Pakistan if Davis is not released.  In the meantime, analysis of records for the “businesses” with which Davis is associated in the US raises the interesting question of whether he recruits potential spies among students taking courses in international security.

The New York Times describes the hearing Thursday in Lahore:

A provincial court gave the Pakistani government three weeks on Thursday to decide whether the American official in custody for killing two Pakistanis has diplomatic immunity, a decision that amounts to a slap to the United States, the nation’s biggest donor and an ally in the fight against terror.

/snip/

The judge in Lahore, Chief Justice Ijaz Ahmad Chaudhry, ordered the Foreign Ministry to present its findings on Mr. Davis’s immunity in three weeks, a delay that is likely to intensify the standoff.

This hearing came the day after Senator John Kerry visited with Pakistani officials, including President Zardari, to argue for Davis’ release and presumably to threaten that Congress could withhold billions of dollars worth of funding to Pakistan if he is not released:

Senator Kerry, the chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee and the sponsor of a $7.5 billion aid package for Pakistan, left Pakistan Wednesday night after meeting with top leaders, including President Zardari. He was confident, he said, that the Davis case would be resolved in the “next few days.”

It would appear that Reuters, and perhaps the people of Pakistan who are opposed to release of Davis, understand how the US Department of Justice operates when it comes to cases involving the war on terror or state secrets.  From a Reuters article on the standoff:

While U.S. officials have said the Justice Department will conduct a criminal investigation of its own, it is unclear whether such a probe would lead to a trial.

The likelihood that, if he is freed, Davis will not face charges for his actions in Pakistan appears to be driving at least a portion of the outrage being exhibited on the streets.

Because the Davis case has all the hallmarks of Davis being an intelligence operative of some sort, there has been much public speculation about his US business activities.  Not all of the information that is circulating appears to be correct.  For example, many stories state that the Florida version of his business has never been registered with the state.  Here is a partial screenshot from Florida public records indicating that Hyperion Protective Consultants, LLC filed registration paperwork in February, 2007 but was then dissolved by the state in September, 2008 for lack of an annual report:

The registered agent for the business in this filing is Gerald L. Richardson, Jr, who also is listed with the state as registered agent for a clothing business, Grynd Wear, LLC but doing business as Grynd Wear, Unlimited at this website.  Grynd Wear and Hyperion listed the same Orlando address for their retail locations, but multiple reports indicate that the storefront is now empty.

An online resume for Richardson notes his association with Hyperion and indicates that before joining Hyperion, he worked as Prevention/Security Manager for a large firm in Orlando.

Although the Florida business has been dissolved by the state, an entity with a very closely related name is registered and still active in Nevada.  There, it is incorporated as Hyperion Protective Services, LLC and lists Raymond Davis and his wife as Managing Members, unlike the Florida filing, where there is no mention of Davis. The address listed for the business appears to be a post office box in a UPS Store.

I have not yet found any definitive information on the Nevada registered agent, who is listed as Rachel Bender.

A very poorly written web description of the Nevada business links to the website of the Florida business, and so there is a direct connection between these similalry named businesses.

Although Davis has had multiple residences in the US, a Denver television station reported that he was living in the Denver area at the time of his arrest and even interviewed his wife.

The Nevada company is registered to operate in Colorado:

The registered agent for the Colorado filing is listed as Shadd Pease.  A person with the same name comes up as working toward a Master’s degree in International Security at the University of Denver.  From an online profile of Pease, we see that his resume is very similar to that of Davis, who also served in Special Forces:

The International Security program at the University of Denver held a “Global Security Career Fair” last October, where the CIA joined a number of other security agencies in recruiting among the students:

In conjunction with the career fair, the CIA also held an information session on Wednesday to explain what they have to offer and the characteristics they look for in employees, whether that be in the analytical field or the clandestine service.

/snip/

Also in attendance at the Global Security Career Fair were the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency, Immigration & Customs Enforcement, U.S. Army JAG, Army Recruiting, U.S. Marine Corps JAG, Boren Fellowship, and the State of Colorado Division of Emergency Management. Both the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives and Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS) plan to reschedule their campus visits after having to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances.

The massive growth in the number of government and contractor intelligence personnel, coupled with Davis’ company appearing to have integrated a student in the Denver program in international security into the firm, led me to wonder whether Davis might play a role in recruiting personnel into intelligence.  Remarkably, when we list the various places Davis has lived, we find academic programs in international security that appear to be very similar to the Denver program near each location.

For the home office in LasVegas, we find the UNLV Institute for Security Studies.   For the Orlando operation, there is the Global Peace and Security Studies Program at the University of Central Florida.  There also is a business address and residence reported for Davis in Vail, Arizona, which is not too far from Tucson, where the University of Arizona is implementing a program to offer an International Securities Studies Certificate.  At least one report also mentioned Davis having spent time in Lexington, Kentucky, where we find that a student can also concentrate on International Security.  With five out of five of Davis’ known locations for living or conducting business being “target rich” environments for people being trained for intelligence careers, it is very hard not to come to the conclusion that Davis’ business function in the US may well be in recruiting for an intelligence agency or contractor.
